CLINICAL FEATURES
An abrupt onset of high fever with conjunctival redness is seen in Kawasaki disease. The fever persists at least 5 days.
Laboratory changes are non-specific with elevated sedimentation rate, C-reactive protein, lactic acid dehydrogenase plus mild anemia and thrombocytosis can be seen.
