Neurofibroma. Soft, skin-colored nodule on the mid-plantar skin of a child.
Lipoma. Soft, subcutaneous nodule unattached to the overlying skin.
CLINICAL FEATURES
Cutaneous neurofibromas may occur as solitary lesions or may be associated with neurofibromatosis.
TREATMENT
Surgical excision is the only treatment option, but should be used judiciously.
